The work began as a consideration on the “patches” of anonymity that keep on surviving even today, in the hyper-communication era; they can be considered as a source of new interpretations and views on our contemporary living. The first gap is given by a number of anonymous gypsum busts belonging to the Lazzerini collection donated to the school by the family, several years ago. The other contradiction is the death of Mazzini under the assumed name of George Brown,  in Pisa Sunday, March 10th, 1872. The result is a work deliberately in progress, in order to determine the relationship between the awareness of the individual memory and the collective one, together with the dialogue that can be enhanced and the means to stimulate it. The first part of the project is structured as a workshop where some students are involved in a reciprocated research between a found archive, internal plaster busts and an internet position prepared for the purpose.
